Perhaps the hardest working gal in the Bay Area show business scene, I’ve know Lorna Bracewell since she was a-youngin’ and, over the years, I’ve witnessed gallons upon gallons of forthright tenacity and musical maturity since her first CD release “Don’t Stop Now.” What’s most impressive is her nonchalant attitude and dedication to the Bay Area music scene. A compilation of live recordings from various venues worldwide, including her jaunt to the Czech republic two years ago, “Released” is the sixth release from this fiery little powerhouse and it skillfully represents pinnacle of musical mid-life development in the extremely talented singer/songwriter’s illustrious career.
